Summary:
The book is about a boy that was at boarding school. He always got torched at school so one day he ran away.When he was running away a grandma found him and invited him for tea. The grandma started telling the boy a story. The story was about her husband that had a White Lion when he was young. Then the lion went to a circus in France because the boy could not look after the lion anymore. Also Bertie (the grandmas husband) went to war.

Never give up

My feelings about the book:
I recommend this book because you can learn about what people have been experiencing through there life.

Our visit to the sinai academy

Last week we visited the Sinia academy in Bloubergrant. It was a very interesting outing. When we first got there we saw the rabbi (He was very kind) He told us all about what jews do.The jews bible is a torah. In the Torah They only read the old testament.There is also something special there. There are scrolls that are kept in a ark.It was very interesting. Then after that we went to their senior primary. There they told us all about what they do.Here is one of the things they do. Every friday night they go to the synagogue ( the synagogue is their church) it is called a Shabbat. There they break a special bread that they make. After they pray. After that they take grape juice/ wine and eat the bread and drink the wine/ juice. The widest part was when the boys had to wear these things called yumelkas. The outing that we went to was great! I learned so much new things! I really enjoyed it. I really recommend going there.

The Grade 4 Camp

Last week we were on camp.We went to Simonsberg. First we went to Giraffe House. We went t a reptile show and we saw snakes and fake spiders. After we saw llamas ostriches giraffes and zebras. We also feed goats. After we ate ice-cream When we got to Simonsberg Christians Centre we went to our dormitory. In my dorm was my friend Franco and Ty. Then we went to the forest. A few minutes later we were put into groups for activities. Then when the sun was going down we went on a night walk. it was really fun. The next day at 8 o'clock we had breakfast. After breakfast we did our activities. My first activity was obstacle course it was a bit hard. Our next activity was with a man could Alan, it was really fun. Then we had free time and we built our fort. Ours was really cool. Our next activity was we had to take planks and put them on logs so we could walk across.
